GLUCARIC Application:
Glucose diacid is found in fruits, vegetables and mammals, especially in cruciferous vegetables and fruits. Glucose diacid is mainly prepared by chemical synthesis of glucose. Glucose diacid and its derivatives have been proven to have potential applications in disease prevention and treatment as early as 1996, including cholesterol reduction, cancer chemotherapy, and calcium gluconate as a dietary supplement. Additional applications led to the recognition by the US Department of Energy in 2004 of Glucose Diacid as "the most valuable biorefinery product".

Calcium gluconate tetrahydrate is a good stabilizer.
