3-bromopropyl is mainly used in soil insecticides, chemical intermediates, and can be used to prepare an alkynylated cashew phenol phenolic resin/titanium dioxide composite material, as well as the preparation of composite immobilized enzyme carrier materials. Also bromopropyl is an intermediate of pyrethroid proparthrin.
